Whenever I feel tense or stressed, I take a moment to stop what I’m doing, close my eyes and take a few deep breaths. I remind myself that I have all the time that I need to complete whatever it is that I need to do. I don’t need to rush or struggle with anything. I release all stress and tension from my body easily. I replace the pain with peace.
Once my heart is calm and relaxed, I look into the reasons why I may have been feeling stressed and I look for better ways to manage the situation.
Stress is just a feeling that I create with my own thoughts. Thankfully, I have the power to change my thoughts at any time.
